New Collection - Camelot Fabrics: Home On The Prairie

Image
I am so happy to announce that my fourth collection for Camelot Fabrics has launched on their website. ‘Home On The Prairie’ is one of my favourite collections, showcasing a warm and earthy colour palette and focussing on my favourite theme of nature.  My inspiration comes in many forms, but the initial inspiration for this collection was a WGSN trend brief I was given while taking part in the Make It In Design Winter School at the beginning of the year. But the biggest reference to where I live is our iconic clock which stands in the village centre and was erected to celebrate the millennium – it’s a very important l

I’m delighted to announce my third collection for Camelot Fabrics has launched on their website . It’s called ‘Urban Jungle’ and features cats... ...dogs... ... as well as pretty meadow flowers!  While I do like dogs, I am most definitely a cat lover and this collection was initially inspired by watching my beautiful kitty moving around our garden with the beauty and grace of her wild big cat relatives - Our garden is definitely her jungle!  Camelot Fabrics say: "Guys, it’s an urban jungle out there. But Vicky Yorke’s cheerful prints, raining cats and dogs, bring a smile to the city. After all, a house just isn’t a home without a dog (or cat). And a cat (or dog) is not happy without a quilt." In addition to my repeat prints, this collection also features my hand drawn typography across two placement half-panels, which read  'A house is not a home without a cat' / 'Beware of the garden
